MaCDA (Mother and Children Development Aid) KENYA

GOVERNANCE

MaCDA has a defined governance structure comprising of Board of Directors, Executive Committee and staff which determines the chain of command and hierarchy of responsibilities within the organization.

The Board of Directors is the highest decision making organ approving policies and reviewing achievements, plans and organizational budget. The Executive Committee is the top management body, headed by the Executive director, and is charged with planning and policy making. They also oversee implementation of programs and daily management activities of the organization assisted by other organization staff. (Detailed in the Organogram)

    In Kenya and Somalia; MaCDA does not have any donor at the moment but is sustained by private donations from the Board of Directors, friends and well-wishers. MaCDA is reaching out to potential donors for possible larger funding. In South Sudan MaCDA has received funds from and implemented projects for CHF, WFP, UNICEF, UNFPA, and UNDP.
